Day 2 Mongaup Campground
Got through the night with just light rain, no lightening or
thunder.
Had no neighbors to the left of me and none to the right,
stuck in the middle with me. Ripe meat for the bears looking for an easy
target, but they never showed.
Welcomed the dawn from my tent, looking out at the last
little drizzle. Arouse and made breakfast and then headed out.
Drove down the river to Livingston Manor, ran a couple of
errands.
Checked my phone and saw that I was connected with the world
again. My friend Jim texted from the
west coast, I will be stopping in around mid-September.
Drove by the trout hatchery and then came back and
reorganized the whole car. I have a feeling that is going to be an ongoing
project.
Mostly it has been a day of rest and reading.
