Out and About Around Homer
I have been out and about the last few days, visiting the galleries and various stores in Homer.
There were a gaggle of geese at the wetlands, I waited for them to take off, after circling around Kachemak Bay, they came back and landed.
Now that Beluga Lake has thawed the Seaplanes have started their flights for the season.

The, Time Bandit, has moved from its mooring and looks like it may be preparing to depart.
Hiking the Calvin and Coyle Trail I came across these fungi growing out of a downed tree.
The weather the past two days has been gorgeous, sunny and warm.

Missed a Day
On, Tuesday, I went up to Warwick to take my camera in for a new focusing screen, a cleaning and tune-up. I, also, left my macro lens to have them repair the Auto-Focus. Mid State Camera is a great place if you need repairs, very knowledgable and friendly.
By the time I was back home they called with an estimate on the lens repair and that my camera would be ready in an hour. Quick and efficient, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Prices are very reasonable and they ship anywhere in the country. I will be using them again.
So, I drove back up and got my camera. Feel so NAKED without it. (inside joke) With all the running around I didn't post yesterday.
Picked up a new faucet for the kitchen and installed it. Just a few minor adjustments to make it work.
A couple of more electrical parts to replace and the house should pass any inspection.
Went to Worden Pond for the sunrise, here are some shots I got.
Still no word on the truck and now Alaska is changing their Covid requirements, effective on the 11th of August. We are waiting to see what we will need to enter the state.

Hot Again
Temp and humidity keeps rising. May have to go jump in a lake.
Went to the hardware store for new fixtures for the front of the house. Went to install them and the screw heads were stripped, screw extractor worked on one, had drill the head off another. what should hav taken about 10 minutes, turned into an hour of sweating and cussing. New fixtures are up and working.
Tomorrow, I will be taking my camera to the shop for a cleaning, repairs and a tune up. I could o into withdrawals, my backup is at home.
Went out at first light to capture the sunrise, should have gone earlier.

A Great Review
A Family of Canadian Geese
at Trustom Pond
Spend the day working on small projects around my sister's house.
My sister's friend, Megan, came over, on the way she stopped for burritos. Which we devoured for lunch.
We then sat around talking for hours, eating Strawberry Shortcake.
Scotty, made hamburgers for dinner, one of Lisa's dogs made off with Lisa's hamburger. Sneaky little pup, we though she had gotten one, then decided she hadn't. When Lisa went to get her's, it had Bleu Cheese melted on it, there was no Bleu Cheeseburger. We laughed and laughed.
Later, when I was checking my twitter account, I came across this review of my work by one of my followers.
