Took my time getting out the door today. Finally left Reno
behind and headed to Carson City. Found a place to do my laundry, needed it I
was out of clothes.
After, since I had skipped breakfast I looked on Yelp and
found a Bakery/Café. I found it with my GPS a little house tucked away. I first
walked into the kitchen and was directed around the corner to the entrance.
After getting a menu and seating myself I saw the pastry
display. I was in heaven. I ordered a tuna Panini and a piece of Chocolate
Decadence Cake. The tuna was very good I substituted Swiss cheese.
The cake was delicious. They had sooooo many more things, I
resisted.
Found a campsite right across from the lake in South Lake
Tahoe. If the weather is good I may get out on the water. There is a reserve on
the Truckee River near the boat launch.
I should be getting together with an old friend from High
School tomorrow, it has been a few years.
Time to read a bit and climb into my bag.
